Seniors (Grades 9-10)
Girl Scout Seniors connect with each other and build confidence in their skills as they work on Journeys and badges, and possibly the Girl Scout Gold Award. They can choose to share their leadership skills with younger girls, travel nationally and internationally, shadow a state legislator and so much more!
Swim, play games, make crafts, and camp out under the stars! At resident camp, girls will benefit from the Girl Scout program over the summer, gain independence, and make new friends. Or get an inside look at camp life- apply to become a dream worker, camp aide or barn aide, or CIT!
The Camp Pathway features day, weekend and resident experiences that introduce and explore the out-of-doors. A defining characteristic of this Pathway is that it is an outdoor, condensed experience.
The Events Pathway offers girls flexibility in planning their Girl Scouting experience. Older girls can choose to join our Girls Rock the Capitol Program (GRTC), a legislative internship just for Girl Scouts, or they can attend any of our events a la carte as their schedules allow. Interested in GRTC? Click on a location below to find out more!
Series offerings are a sequence of linked program sessions - offered by the Council or community partners - that relate to a specific theme or purpose and feature cumulative, sequential experiential learning. Each girl chooses to participate in the entire series as a complete program package; series may be short-term or longer-term. The intent is to engage the same group of girls throughout the entire series of program opportunities.
The Travel Pathway offers girls leadership opportunities and cross-cultural understanding through local, regional, national, and international travel. Girls prepare, plan, money-earn and participate through group travel, Council-sponsored trips or nationally sponsored excursions. Click the links below to find out more about these incredible opportunities!
Our best known Girl Scout option- join a group of girls and work together while you attend programs, earn badges, and try new things!
The Troop Pathway offers the same group of girls the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, usually over the span of nine to twelve months. Girls may join at any time during the troop year. Troops can camp, attend council events, and travel as a group all through the Troop Pathway!
Schedule too packed? Participate in a Virtual Pathway program and log on to an online Girl Scout community that provides girls the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouting without regard to geographic location. Girls will be divided into program level groups and will have monthly meetings through a virtual format using secure websites and webinars.
Earn badges and meet girls from all over New Hampshire and Vermont in a Virtual Troop! Girls participate in monthly online meetings and an in person Take Action project at the end of the year. Participate in one-time events with girls around the Council and learn new computer skills at a class.
